Identification of potentially dangerous object - a procedure to identify the sources and on-site risks, based on which the object is considered potentially dangerous.
Identification involves an analysis of the structure of objects of economic activity and the nature of their operation to determine whether the presence or absence of hazards that, under certain circumstances, can initiate an emergency situation (ES) as well as the determination of possible emergency situations.
Identification of PDO regulated by the following laws and legal acts:
- Law of Ukraine "On High-risk objects" №2245-III since 18.01.2001.
- Order of The Ministry of Ukraine about emergencies and protection of the population from the consequences of the Chernobyl accident № 98 dated 23.02.2006 «On approval of the method of identification of potentially hazardous objects».
