Currently, in Ukraine is a transition from a certification system UkrSEPRO to conformity of products with technical regulations.
Determination of the Technical Regulations (TR) is introduced by the Law of Ukraine "On standardization, technically regulated procedures and conformity assessment".
Conformity assessment of products of TR can be carried out in two formats:
- forming certificate of conformity TR;
- forming declaration of conformity TR.
Declaration differs from certificate arranging responsibilities.
When declaring goods responsibility for incorrect or inadequate data provided assumes the person who made and signed the declaration of conformity. When certificating responsibility is on conformity assessment body that issued the certificate.
Confirmation of compliance with the relevant regulations is carried out on the basis of modules, which are normalized in the Technical Regulations of conformity assessment modules, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 07.10.2003 № 1585 as amended by Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 31.08.2011 № 920.
